Yonder House began with modest ambitions. A weekly gathering of friends, to drink all the beer in
town and record music. No expectations, just a way to get away from everyday life for a night. It
wasn’t very long after the first session however, they realized that they had something very, very
special. A kind of chemistry that both doesn’t come around often, and also simply cannot be
fabricated.
It was a cold and snowy December afternoon in 2016 when Matthew Fosket joined fellow
musicians Jason Ehrlich, Donnie Vizzini, and TJ Smith at Yonder Studios, and “Yonder House” was
born. By the end of 2017, the group had written and recorded over 25 songs. Matthew and his
wife Rachael moved to Los Angeles, while the group continued their work on the record. The
album is now finished, a 12 song collaborative and breathtakingly personal story. The result of
their work is so nostalgic, so familiar, and yet entirely singular and unique. An accumulation of four
artists who love each other as much as they do their music.
